Rieger is the latest tuner that focused at the German coupe, preparing a significant aesthetic package for it.

We are talking about something significant, because as you can see, this model of Volkswagen`s Scirocco received Lambo doors, Rieger having a long list of changes brought to this model.

Custom spoiler for both the front and the rear, wider side-skirts, a suspensions which lowers the gravity center and three sets of 19 or 20 inch rims are just a few of the accessories for this must-have coupe.

Marangoni is a car tuning company from Italy that will reveal M430 at the Essen Motor Show. The M430 is based on the new Alfa Romeo Mi.To and the guys from Marangoni added 65 HP to the 1.4 T-Jet version of this car and their modified Alfa can develop 220 HP now. For the car’s exterior they installed lambo doors, a front spoiler that looks just like the one from Ferrari F430, a rear diffuser and 4 exhaust pipes. And that’s not all: the car also received a paint job in two colors, a suspension that is lower with 40 mm and 18″ rims equipped with red tires. The car’s interior has a lovely black & red color theme and this tiny car would please anyone. It’s small, easy to handle, stylish and extremely powerful.

Ford Motor Co. declared on Monday that “it will re-evaluate strategic options for Volvo Car Corp., including the possible sale”. They also said tha the decision to renew its options for Volvo is due to the “significant decline” in the auto industry, especially in the last three months.

“Given the unprecedented external challenges facing Ford and the entire industry, it is prudent for Ford to evaluate options for Volvo as we implement our ONE Ford plan,” said Alan Mulally, chief executive officer.

The review will take “several months”, according to Ford. Meanwhile, plans to allow Volvo to operate on a more stand-alone basis will continue to be put in place.

Unfortunately for some of us, Porsche has just announced that the launch of its new four-door sports coupe the Panamera will be delayed until the Shanghai Auto Show next April. The model should have be unviled at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The luxury sports car maker declared that the delay is a reflection of the growing importance of China and other Asian market for its future sales. Hmm, really ? The real reason for this decision might be that the European and US car sales ar tumbling fast, which made them look for a market to help maintain some stability in your global sales and a continuously growing economy like China’s is just that.

Porsche sales in China doubled for fiscal year 2007-2008 compared to the previous year to 8,190 units. In the same period, North American and European sales were down sharply and fell 5.4 percent in Germany, Porsche’s domestic market. Porsche is in incredibly good shape financially. For the fiscal year that ended September 30th, Porsche made a profit of 8.6 billion euros on revenues of 7.5 billion.

Wait…that doesn’t make sense. How can you make more money in profits than you take in in revenue from car sales?

It is very important for a train to have good train horns since it will be a factor to minimize accidents. The new Opel Insignia is already a car that many tuners want to modify. It has a nice design, it’s not expensive at all and it has a lot of innovative systems that make it more interesting than other cars. Steinmetz is one of the tuning companies that made a special tuning package for Insignia. They lowered the suspension system, installed 20″ alloy rims and modified the front spoiler, floor mats and the rear bumper. Insignia is the new European Car of the Year and it’s available in four versions equipped with a 2.0L diesel engine which could develop between 110 HP and 190 HP. The petrol versions range from 140 HP to 260 HP for the 2.8L V6 turbo engine.
